What is Code 0089

Reject Code 0089 for Instant Interbank Fund Transfer indicate a connection issue with the recipient Bank.

If you are transferring or make a monthly payment to a loan or credit card account, please check with your recipient bank (if your account) have some problem with payment pattern or issue.

3 Methods To Solve Error Code 0089

  1. You can to change the mode of transfer to Interbank GIRO (scheduled fund transfer).

 Kindly take note that the transaction schedule for Giro is as follows:

a. Transaction initiated on Mon-Fri before 5 pm will be received by 11 pm on the same business day while transactions after 5 pm will be received on the next working day from 11 am onwards.

b. Transaction performed on a non-business day will be received on the next working day from 11 am onwards.

2. Kindly refresh the system by performing the clear cache/temporary history/cookies and turn off/on your device. You may then retry to login. 

3. Alternatively, you may change a different internet browser or device.
