April last year, I did compare Tune Prepaid Visa Card with Maybank Debit card to show how Tune Card is good tools for making money online.
But now, Maybank has upgrade their Maybank Debit Card so the user can use it for internet transactions.
So the famous application for Debit Card Malaysians is to withdraw money from PayPal account. If this is the first time you heard about about PayPal and have no idea about it. Don’t worry. it just an internet account for online transactions. It’s free to use, easy to receive money from online advertiser and you can buy credits for your Barn Buddy game in facebook. 
Ok, the first step to withdraw money from PayPal using Maybank Debit card is simple actually. You must have Maybank2u account and already change your ATM Maybankard to Debit card like this one:

I already changed it when my ATM Maybankard broke because of my fat sharp azz hehe. FYI, PayPal is free to register. They charge you USD 5 per withdrawal.
If you have all this three items than you are ready to withdraw your PayPal money to Maybank Debit Card. Ready
First Phase : Register your Maybank Debit Card to Secure Online Shopping Registration
1. Please login to your Maybank2u account.
2. Then look under Utilities and Click on Maybankcard Secure Online Shopping Registration
Notes :
To access Maybank Secure Online (MSOS), a credit/debit card link to either MasterCard or VISA is required.
Please fill out all fields.ALL fields are compulsory.
3. Next fill in the MSOS Password and Personal Assurance Message. (PAM)
Notes :
Your Personal Assurance Message (PAM) will appear whenever you asked for your password whilst shopping online. This confirm that you are only providing your password to Maybank and you should check to make sure this message is correct.
5. Then Expired Date, CVV (Refer your Maybank Debit Card ) and then Hint & Answer.
6. Remember all this PAM and Hint & Answer. Write it somewhere using your secret code. You might need it.
2nd Phase : Link Your Maybank Debit Card to PayPal
1. Login to your PayPal account. If you don’t have just create one.
2.At My Account tab, click Profile then click Add/Edit Credit or Debit Card.
3. Key in the details of your Maybank Visa Debit Card, CCV, Card Number and Expiration date. Then ,type your billing address .
4. After that you will get notification e-mail from PayPal saying that you succesfully linked your debit card. All you need to do is to add the secret code.
3rd Phase : Finding the PayPal Secret Pin Code
Ok, it is not that secret but it is important for PayPal to verify that you are the owner of the card. Please take this security measure carefully because we don’t want to risk your salary in Maybank rite. As long as you don’t reply to PayPal or Maybank email to change your password by clicking link to bogus website then I believe you are safe.
Please wait for 24 hours for PayPal to send the code.
1. Now login to your Maybank2u account then click on your Account number for your Account Details.
2. Find and click on Debit Card History. Walla, you will see list of transactions with the word “Paypal”.PayPal will take deposit of USD 1.95. After that they will return it back on your PayPal account, don’t worry.So make sure you have at least RM50 in your account hehe.
The PayPal secret pin code is the 4 numbers before the word Paypal.

Final Phase : Enter The Secret Code
Are you ready, this is the most important step.
1. Open your PayPal account and click on Profile, then Add/Edit Credit or Debit Card.
2. Click on Enter Paypal Code and enter the code you obtained from your Maybank Debit Card Statement.
3. After that, you can see on your profile your Debit Card. As you can see I use Maybank Debit Card and Tune Money Prepaid Card.
* Compare to Tune Money Prepaid, I believe you can save more with Maybank Debit card since you will not be charges for ATM withdrawal.
So up to you guys, make more money online la la la

Hey lets say i have 1000usd in paypal and when i withdraw it to either maybank or tune card, paypal will deduct 5usd, and the local bank will deduct certain percentage out of the remaining 995usd right???
this is because i remembered withdrawing to my visa hsbc credit card and they ate some percentage out of the total sum, instead of a fix rate.. i stopped withdrawing ever since..

balance dlm paypal dan bank are separate account.tak payah nk add fund dlm paypal pasal klu nk buat pembayaran dan balance dlm paypal tk cukup, paypal akan charge debit card kita automatik. Kita just knowledge which card dia nk charge.

Saya nak add Maybank Debit Card,
lepas tu, PBdebit saya akan tamat 2012 ini, dengan yuran
tahunan sebanyak 25RM setahun, saya bercadang untuk mematikan
kad PBDebit saya (dengan tidak membayar yuran tahunannya – dan
baki dalam kad yang tinggal RM1).
Bolehkah saya menggunakan MaybankDebit sahaja selepas itu?

Macam i punya, i pakai tune card and maybank card. So bila tune card malas nak reload and have some money on Maybank debit card, so I change to Maybank Debit card as my default card lupakan yang lain hehe.

hi…when i try to confirmed my debit card with the paypal code, it says that “You have entered an old PayPal code. Please enter the new 4-digit PayPal code from your card statement.”
what does that mean? i already entered the 4-digit code found in my bank account, but it didn't work…

When did u click resend new paypal code?
You have to wait 24 hours to get the code if i am not mistaken.
Definetly you have to wait for the 2nd code since the one that you got
is the old one.

I clicked “resend new paypal code” yesterday coz I can't find any paypal code in my maybank account…i think it was my mistake coz i need to wait for 1-2 days rite? i got the paypal code today but it says that it is an old one…yeah…i think i have to wait for another code in 24h…btw, will they charge me again $1.95 for clicking “Resend PayPal Code”?

Dlm PP, apabila kita cube Add Funds (dr MBB DebitCard), dia akan kuar :
“PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account.
When you make a payment, PayPal charges the buyer’s credit card and instantly credits the seller’s PayPal account.”
Ini bermaksud segala billing akan direct ke charge ke MBB DebitCard?
(Dgn erti kata lain, MBB DC hanya mempermudahkan withdrawal only?).
Sekiranya “ya” barangkali ini adalah rentetan menjaga kemaslahatan/”security purpose” memandangkan terdapatnya Fraud yg berlaku dimana seseorg Hacker telah berjaya menggobek MSOS Code MBB a/c.
Ini tidak berlaku kpd :
a) Public Bank Debit Card – kerana verification adalah melalui email
b) BIMB Credit Card – kerana verification melalui auth. Call to BIMB Hotline
c) Tune Card – kerana verification melalui ….??? (x berapa pasti)

2. Public bank and CIMB card tk pernah pakai lagi. so tak sure. What do you mean actually by verification?
Is it your Debit card will ask for your permission by phone or email before PayPal can charge you?
Before this I use Tune Card, tiada verification. PayPal will automatically charge you.
3. About Hacker ni, aku tak surer la. Buleh bagi link?
4. Upload money to PayPal ? Pada aku tak perlu, just make sure you have enough money in your bank account if its a debit card that you use for verification. If you use credit card as your verification to PayPal, then no worries as PayPal will directly charge your credit card.
So tanpa add funds, paypal akan charge Debit Card kte even if kte ade 0.00 funds?ada charge x for each transaction ble kte buy/pay online using paypal (then paypal charge Debit Card)?

hallo here i got a problem , yesterday i wan send us school fee to a school usd799 =rm 2545 . i use a maybank debit card with limit rm4000 ,but te paypal just reject with a reason over limit , and ask me to comfirm card and lift limit. so i add the card then my maybank account had deduct rm 10 but with a description that say sales debit and not paypal code . so how ? should i stil need to wait ? cause is quite urgent to pay the fee. help plsss

yes you can. Make sure your friend have PayPal too. PayPal will charge to your Maybank account.
Yes, you are very much right, you cannot open a PayPal account for Charity, if your charity is registered in India, same thing happened with me also, I applied a Charity account for my client and after completing all the formalities they just denied for the account.
I have a suggestion for you, apply for a normal account with some other website and then use it for your Charity website, I have list of websites who are doing the same thing.
You can also try some other Payment Gateways like CCavenue, but in case you are using Vbulletin script, I don’t think so that it may help you. The first suggestion may work for you.

hey your article is out of date!!! today (OCTOBER 14, 2010) i reg paypal.com, there r no more debit card accepted to “GET VERIFIED”. instead all credit card needed to pass this “GET VERIFIED” notification. what a bullshit huh!!!! if i cannot pass this “GET VERIFIED” status, then all of transaction eg withdrawing/paying through my paypal account CANNOT be done.

First you got to activate your Debit card Maybank using Maybank2u. Then you can register with Paypal and get verified.

why do you want to add money to paypal ? If you want to pay something using PayPal, PayPal will charge your debit card straight away if PayPal balance is not enough.
Just make sure you have money in your Maybank account
