Quick Tips on Using Picasa

March 24th, 2008 | 10 Comments | Posted in Image Tools, tips

My wife make full use of Picasa to put my daughter’s picture into her blog. So I decided to share with you all about this great image software.

What is Picasa?
Picasa is a software application for organizing and editing digital photos, originally created by Idealab and now owned by Google. ‘Picasa’ is a multi-wordplay on the name of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso plus the phrase “mi casa” for “my house” and “pic” pictures (personalized art). The icon and logo is a stylized house formed by the aperture blades of a photographic lens. In July 2004, Google began offering Picasa for free download.

Picasa is software that helps you to instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names that you will recognize.

You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.

During my student life, living with my friends in Shah Alam was really happening. Playing soccer, tease a couple of girls , "Lepak-lepak" at shopping Mall and playing cards was really fun, apart form study together :).one day, I discover that the structure of my front door looks weird, the upper frame have small holes. We knew that its the Termites, the main culprit.Well, at that time who really care since we just rent the house. We were not aware actually, we put and store or books, note and file from past semester  inside one of the room.FYI, we only came to our store after final examination to put and store more books.

Time goes by until the end of semester, and the upper door frame looks to collapse so we called the house owner to fix it since its hard to close the door. The owner bring some liquid termites treatement, where he sprays at the termites and around the house structure. He is quite mad at that time since we acknowledges him quite late. When he tried to spray at our store room, we were shocked  seeing all of our notes, books, boxes and file eaten by the termites. Only half of it can barely being use again.

Moral of the story, Don’t judge a book by it’s cover heheh. Why? When termites is there, your book will be gone :))

Increase Income with PayPerPost

November 30th, 2007 | No Comments | Posted in computers and internet, tips

Last night while trying to make my daughter sleep, I received an email from PayPerPost™ that my application has been approved. So , immediately I run to their blog to move to my next move..hehe

WHAT IS PayPerPost™

With PayPerPost™ advertisers are willing to pay you to post on topics. Search through a list of topics, make a blog posting, get your content approved, and get paid. It’s that simple. So this is a big opportunity for a newbie like me to start making money online.

Main benefit of PayPerPost™

  • Yes,eventhough you don’t have your own website, you still can make money without any specific skills. By going online from home and the most important thing is just willingness to spend time completing offers.
  • Its true, income generated from PayPerPost™ can be enormous. According to the forum threads and blogs I’ve read over the past few months, you can make a minimum of $100 to $2,000+ a month. Just imagine by spending some time writing and post something that you might like and earn extra cash. So,what are you waiting for. From what I heard,PayPerPost™,getting this amount of monthly income is possible and can be achieved with effort

Some Wiki about PayPerPost

Google has recently downgrade Pagerank of all blogs with Text Link Ad or PayPerPost™ Blogger. Too bad, as I am a newbie, so I don’t mind actually being downgrade. A lot of famous high rank Bloggers have bent over to Google even though they know that PayPerPost pay them more. They just afraid to loose their page in Google.

For all of you just read here on what Maki have to say in his Dosh-Dosh Blog about Pagerank and PayPerPost™.

November 25th, 2007 | 6 Comments | Posted in firefox, making money online, tips, tutorial, tv ad

Did you know that Google Adsense has a referral program which will allow you to earn up to USD 1 everytime you refer one new user to install the Firefox browser.

So, lets calculate now, and do some math. If your blog traffic, let say you have 2 to 3 hundred readers everyday , and half of that is using IE,and by using the right way you an earn the USD 100 or more just by convince your user and make them convert to Firefox. How ? Easy !

1. Let them watch this ad first hehe

2. Just like selling a product, you must show how good is your product rite, so let’s convince them first. Why do you have to use Firefox rather than Internet Explorer?

Improved Tabbed Browsing

-and IE copied them

Spell Checking

- prevent typo in your post

Search Suggestions

-will suggest the best match word with your search

Session Restore

-If you close the firefox by accident, they will restore it for you.

Web Feeds (RSS)

-If you like certain website such as mine (heheh), you can click the rss icon and subscribe it. Easy rite

Pop-up Blocker

- What can I say more about this ? Prevent pop up while surfing is such a relief.Just forget old days when you use IE and have to close a lot of pop up advertisement

It is FREE, and how is that sound for you.
