Entrecard Team has introduced a new feature Cash Out Service , where they will offer to buy your EC credit for cash. This service should be available next week as promised by Graham, so you can count how many EC credit you have.
Too bad I have spent most of my 25K EC that I won from Ahkong.net in Bazillion contest.:). So I have to drop more from now on.
Actually this Cash Out service is made available to all member after introducing Paid Ads. Paid Ads in Entrecard allow member or non member to advertise on all EC blog.
It’s cheap and you can gain a lot of traffic from it. Although some member object the idea of paid ads, but I believe EC team need money to run their server and pay developer.
So by accepting Paid Ads, we actually support this great service. Entrecard is a great traffic puller, people can say that it is a trash traffic or what so ever.
But I gain a lot of exposure form Entrecard, so i believe I owe them my support.
Anyway, there are certain rules that we have to follow before we are eligible for the cash out service.
Our new community support algorithm is going to determine the priority with which you can cash out your credits. It is also going to eventually help determine your rank in our member directory. The main factors it will take into consideration are:

I’m still in wait and see mode about EC. I really don’t know what to think about the paid ads system yet. I’ve taken part though, and even bought some ad space in support, but the pay out thing.. I dunno. Either way, I still drop as I normally would and I still look for ad space with those credits. I really hate to think that everyone will not hoard their credits instead of using them for ads…

Me too, still waiting for the cash out system to be implemented. Everybody is waiting for it …we will wait and see.
I believe the EC team is working hard on it.
i dont whether i will be paid or not. I only got around 2.5K credit on my entrecard account. hehehe.
i dont how much are they going to paid to me but i heard that they only pay people who approve paid ads. well i approve all of them as at this moment but we’ll see when the features really come to live.
apart from that, some of the things i read about this is that there are too many entrecard credit on the market now. And some says there are inflation on entrecard cresdit. Those are the things i heard that lead to the introduction of paid ads. But we’ll see. Hopefully i can easily get money through entrecard. hehehe
