OK, back to the topic, how often do you log in to your account and check your adsense stat. Well to be honest I will check every half an hour or whenever I think about money hehe. The funny thing is Google team even name the syndrom G.A.S.S. – Google AdSense Stats Syndrome.
” The primary sign of affliction is the compulsive need to check AdSense stats every 15 minutes or so to see how much you’ve earned since your prior login. Sufferers face strong withdrawal when separated from a PC with Internet access and have been known to experience mild abdominal discomfort and general irritability “
So from the description of the syndrome, for those who log in and check their stat for every 15 minutes or less, then please be aware that you are suffering G.A.S.S. The cure ? by Dr Lankapo :
- Post quality content as much you can
- Please visit popular blog every 30 minutes
- Leave comment and
- Join forum to share your opinion and views.
I got an email from them explaining why there are some delays in Adsense statistic report.Usually it takes about 15 to 30 minutes, but sometimes it can be delay for up to 24 hours. So for those who suffered G.A.S.S don’t panic ok. Your money won’t go anyway. For your information, your reports won’t show data for impressions on public service announcements (PSAs). So if your Adsense still show Public Service Ad, then better change your content to more targeted keywords and increase your SEO.

sifu, i guess i check my google adsense account like 2 to 3 days la, cos most of time , 0 earning, malu nak tahu, so far my earning is about US 12.00,
how to increase la sifu ?

@ eugene – Your blogging history is same like mine. Just remember target high paying keyword to get expensive ad in adsense. Make sure you visit popular blog,exchange link and leave comment to get notice. Leave a unique and wise to get author intention

when i just join google adsense..i use to check it every hours..now no more..maybe check once a week or even more than that…why? because it grow slowly

probably once a week or once in every two weeks … probably i;m just to lazy checking Adsense nowadays but they’re working fine so far

Probably a couple of times a day but that’s mainly because I have it open automatically with some other bookmarks. Some days (like the weekends) I don’t bother checking it at all.

After all the SEO techniques I followed like some of what you stated here my adsense goes well.
@ Holly – Everyday we stress about money you know haha. Especailly during this financial crisis. I am not sure when Malaysia will be affected as our leaders keep mentioning that nothing going to be happened to us when all coutries even Yahoo feel the pressure

Guilty, I check my adsense at least 3 or 4 times a day. I used to be worse. I am trying to limit myself to once a day but haven’t made it yet.
Yeah I got that same email. I admit I am a chronic statistics lover, especially when it comes to money. And lets face it google has made the statistics to easy to find. Yep, we should be writing articles instead.
