Google Adsense vs Nuffnang
Hi Guys,
Last week, I had a fruitful discussion with Papa Bear about our online income. We try to compare two online income that are proven but different, Google Adsense and Nuffnang. As we know Google Adsense tend to work well with English content with high paying keywords. As Nuffnang, I have been told that only local IP will be count in. Meaning traffic from Malaysia only will be turn into money.Source from Mr Akubetul

That explain why my wife’s blog, The Other Side of ME, earn more than my lankapo.com through Nuffnang. Even the statistic show that my number is better than her. So right now, I have to choose and focus on either Nuffnang or Google Adsense. As majority of traffic from this blog come from outside of Malaysia.As I am active with Entrecard. If I want to earn from Google Adsense, I have to post entry in English. Ok this is where my problem lies, my English is not that good to capture more audience. Yup, I have to admit. It is really important to be comfortable with your entry to attract more reader and make them to revisit your again. I can’t do that with my English writing.
That is why I got to reactivate back my old blog in Bahasa Melayu, Damiaanura.com to attract more local Blogger. With this blog, I can write freely and within a short time. As for English blog, I have to do some research and draft first. Sometime it took 2 -3 days for me to write one post. I am not like you guys or Papa bear that can write as simple as that. I need more time to think the right and exact word to explain my points.
All this while, I thought you can only make money through English blog, but Nuffnang prove me wrong.As a lot of my friend earn a lot of money through Nuffnang with Bahasa Melayu blog. It takes me 2-3 months to earn my USD 100 through Google Adsense while my friend earn RM 500 – RM 600 per month. The keyword is traffic. There is no point to write about popular keywords if you fail to capture and mesmerize your visitor. You need to be unique and touch your visitor’s heart.
What leave this blog ? No la. I will still maintain this blog it just that I will focus more on my traffic.Share my experience on blogging and making money online using Google Adsense.Adsense is quite challenging, you can earn more through clicks or high traffic. As for now I need to restructure this blog to focus more on Adsense while DamiaAnura.com on Nuffnang.
So, no matter what language do you write, just make sure you are good at it and attract high traffic as to monetize your blog or site will be easy. But if you blog just for fun, its up to you as long as you happy with it.

while i have earn alot with nuffnang. I still haven’t master everything yet with the trick and trial & error with adsense.

Bro, teach me how to make RM500 from Nuffnang, then i belanja you minum kopi. so far after 5 months since blogging, i only made US11 from Adsense, and as for Nuffnang, they just gave me one Guiness post begining this month, dont know how much i can make.

@eugene – aiyakk taiko, did my writing is so bad that you misunderstood or just playing with me hehe. No lah, I only make RM 200 in 2-3 months using Nuffnang. The fellow that earn that RM 500 – RM 600 through Nuffnang is my friend akubetul.com. His traffic per day is 1k plus, try to beat that one. He use Malay languange and mix with English.
I know a lot of local blogger earn more than that rite hehe. About the sifu thing, no lah. I am still learning lah. But nice to hear that.You can ask LiewCF or 5xmom.com instead to be your sifu.

I use to do it also having a blog that concentrates on local traffic and a blog that caters international traffic.

@ rhyan – wazzup bro- sorry to hear that you have been kicked from PayPerPost after making a lot of money online with them hehe. Don’t be sad ok. There will always new source of money making online in the future.
Just concentrate on your Nuffnang Philipines, increase your traffic. You will get more than PayPerPost.

Hehehe…. baru beberapa bulan je dapat RM500 tu…. sebelum ni pun purata RM300 sebulan je. Selalunya aku malas share income tu ngn orang tak kenal, but ngn member2 aku bagitau je. Bagi motivasi sikit, ngn orang tak kenal payah, nanti dia kata belagak. Padahal beberapa ratus ringgit mana boleh nak belagak lagi, dah cecah ribuan baru boleh kot. Hahaha….
Betul, masa Nuffnang Sharing Session kat The Apartment Sabtu lepas, wakil Nuffnang beritahu yang Nuffnang hanya kira local traffic. Tak sure ‘local’ to maksudnya Malaysia or include Singapore dan Filipina. Pastu, kalau banyak loyal reader, lagi banyak boleh dapat duit dari Nuffnang. Sebab advertiser akan choose special kempen untuk blog itu sahaja, targeted sekumpulan jenis pembaca sahaja. Macam iklan Levis, Oreo dan Chelsea haritu.
For Lankapo.com’s foreign visitor, sorry my komen in Malay. Since i talk about our local online ads company, Nuffnang.

For adsense you dont have to write damn good in English. Plus, Adsense prefer organic visitor compare to loyal readers, since loyal reader will never click your ads. Rite?

@ akubetul- it’s ok to share, at least we will feel more motivated. It’s not impossible to reach that number.

a lot of bloggers are not good on English. Even some Americans aren’t good at it too. Don’t worry too much about your English. What is important is the quality post.
btw, the difference with Adsense and Nuffnang is that in Adsense you will be paid if someone click on your ads while Nuffnang will be paying you the moment they are showing some ads on your site.
