Google Adsense vs Nuffnang

Hi Guys,

Last week, I had a fruitful discussion with Papa Bear about our online income. We try  to compare two online income that are proven but different, Google Adsense and Nuffnang. As we know Google Adsense tend to work well with English content with high paying keywords. As Nuffnang, I have been told that only local IP will be count in. Meaning traffic from Malaysia only will be turn into money.Source from Mr Akubetul

That explain why my wife’s blog, The Other Side of ME, earn more than my lankapo.com through Nuffnang. Even the statistic show that my number is better than her. So right now, I have to choose and focus on either Nuffnang or Google Adsense. As majority of traffic from this blog come from outside of Malaysia.As I am active with Entrecard. If I want to earn from Google Adsense, I have to post entry in English. Ok this is where my problem lies, my English is not that good to capture more audience. Yup, I have to admit. It is really important to be comfortable with your entry to attract more reader and make them to revisit your again.  I can’t do that with my English writing.

That is why I got to reactivate back my old blog in Bahasa Melayu, Damiaanura.com to attract more local Blogger. With this blog, I can write freely and within a short time. As for English blog, I have to do some research and draft first. Sometime it took 2 -3 days for me to write one post. I am not like you guys or Papa bear that can write as simple as that. I need more time to think the right and exact word to explain my points.

All this while, I thought you can only make money through English blog, but Nuffnang prove me wrong.As a lot of my friend earn a lot of money through Nuffnang with Bahasa Melayu blog. It takes me 2-3 months to earn my USD 100 through Google Adsense while my friend earn RM 500 – RM 600 per month. The keyword is traffic. There is no point to write about popular keywords if you fail to capture and mesmerize your visitor. You need to be unique and touch your visitor’s heart.

What leave this blog ? No la. I will still maintain this blog it just that I will focus more on my traffic.Share my experience on blogging and making money online using Google Adsense.Adsense is quite challenging, you can earn more through clicks or high traffic. As for now I need to restructure this blog to focus more on Adsense while DamiaAnura.com on Nuffnang.

So, no matter what language do you write, just make sure you are good at it and attract high traffic as to monetize your blog or site will be easy. But if you blog just for fun, its up to you as long as you happy with it. . Happy blogging  and Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim readers.

A Great story of Friendship and Love!

I saw this video about Christian the Lion from my online buddy, Twiggy. So I want to share with you about this great stories. Almost shed tears on my eyes .

If a lion can show their love towards human, why is it, there is still people out there who dumped their babies and neglect their parents. Sad isn’t it ? .

Christian Love Story

In 1969 a young Australian, John Rendall and his friend Ace Bourke, bought a small lion cub from Harrods pet department, which was then legal.  ‘Christian’ was kept in the basement of a furniture shop on the Kings Road in Chelsea, the heart of the swinging sixties.  Loved by all, the affectionate cub ate in a local restaurant, played in a nearby graveyard, but was growing fast…

A chance encounter with Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna led to a new life for Christian.  He came to live in an enclosure and slept in a caravan at their Surrey home.  Then in 1971 he was flown to Kenya, his ancestral home, and returned to the wild by lion-man George Adamson.  Almost a year later in 1972, John and Ace returned to Kora in Kenya and it is their reunion with Christian at this time that is shown in the clip.

It was an emotional reunion: “He ran towards us, threw himself onto us, knocked us over and hugged us, with his paws on our shoulders.”

Malaysian Telco Silence on MNP

Recently Government has announced that MNP will be on trial from September to October. For Klang Valley user, supposedly we can change our telco swiftly and choose the best deal for our phone package.

MNP is a government directive and regulatory requirement. There will be a Limited Live Trial from 29 August, to early October 2008. MNP will officially be launched in Malaysia from early October 2008 onwards.

The weird thing is I don’t see any ad on the media like TV or paper to tell us in details in how to change our plan. I did some research and try to check at these Telco Official Site and found out that there is a page on FAQ about MNP and porting location in Lembah Klang for each Telco.That is all.

I am not sure why there is no advertisement on TV to promote MNP, it’s look like these Telcos try to keep this MNP silence. Because if they explain it in more details I bet more dissatisfy user will change their Telco. As at this moment, the Telcos keep us in dark. For me it is not fair, we user have all the rights

Hopefully Government will do something about this as this MNP momentum is too slow.

Use Ping.fm to update all your social network

My previous post, Updating your status in Twitter using Twitterfeed. But now I want to share with you guys a new tool that can be use to update all your social network and blogger. Man, this tools make life more easier  

Ping.fm allow us to use up to 20 plus Social Network. The picture shows all social network that I use to update my status from Twitter to Yahoo 360. I use this tool to increase my blog exposure to all my friend and hopefully increase my traffic. It just impossible to update and tell all all your network that you have post new entry rite. So Ping.fm will get all the jobe done for you.

Unlike twitterfeed, you have to type your message in Ping.fm and you can choose to post the link on all your network or on selected network.

Chrome will bite Firefox and Internet Explorer

Well, well..there is new browser in town.Initially my first thought it was another Mozilla product but it turns out to be Google first browser.

Chrome as a in blue chrome color and it’s logo similar to a Pokemon’s  ball. I downloaded it today and installed in my Acer laptop with Vista and my Office PC with Window XP.

My first impression is, Chrome will be a trend setter in Future Internet Browser. It is totally different than Internet Explorer and Firefox. I am no expert here to tell you about the design and coding, but you can read the Chrome comic book to understand better.

It is still in beta but I can say that Chrome is built for speed, stability and security. I noticed that many still hesitate try it out. Don’t worry just give it a shot, you will like it.
